Welcome to my home page.

I am a Professor at the Dept. of Electrical Engineering, Alexandria University, Alexandria, Egypt.

I am an IEEE Senior Member.

I received the B.Sc. (with honor) and M.Sc. degrees in EE from Alexandria University, Alexandria, Egypt in 1982 and 1986, respectively.

I received the Ph.D. degree in EE from Southern Methodist University (SMU), Dallas, Texas in 1990.

Since my graduation with Ph.D. I have been affiliated with Alexandria University.

However, with the generous mobility regulations of Alexandria University I was fortunate to gain R&D experience from many industrial and academic organization around the world.
